On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to submit abstracts/papers for the 5th GeoChina International Conference 2018 [http://geochina2018.geoconf.org/] to be held in Hangzhou, China from July 23 to 25, 2018. This Sustainable Civil Infrastructures using Innovative Technologies and Material is endorsed by a number of leading international professional organizations.

In conjunction with the GeoChina 2018, the conference would like to offer conference attendees with technical tour and workshops.  GeoChina 2018 will be hosted by the Zhejiang University (ranked top 5 in China).

Hangzhou is renowned for its historic relics and natural beauty. It is known as one of the most beautiful cities in China, also ranking as one of the most scenic cities. Recent rapid construction in China has provided great opportunities for bridge, pavement, geotechnical, and tunnel engineers to use their knowledge and talents to solve many challenging problems involving highway bridge structures, pavements, materials, ground improvement, slopes, excavations, and tunnels with innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies.

Accepted papers will be published in Edited Books by Springer-DE which will be indexed in EI and submitted for inclusion in ISI "Thomson Reuters". Best Paper Awards will be presented in GeoChina 2018 to authors whose works represent novel research with significant real-world applications.

The abstract (maximum of 500 words) submission should be done online before March 15, 2017

As previous 4 conferences, selected papers from the GeoChina  2018 may be considered for publications in the special issues/collection of

1. Journal of Performance of Constructed Facilities, ASCE (SCI Indexed),

2. Journal of Testing and Evaluation, ASTM (SCI Indexed),

3. International Journal of Geomechanics, ASCE (SCI Indexed),

As papers are accepted by ASCE, they will appear in a regular issue of the ASCE journals. .
